Deposit: €50 for all new patients (applies to Medical Card Holders, PRSI, and Private patients)
Purpose: Ensures attendance for scheduled appointments
Forfeiture Conditions:
Cancellation within 48 hours of appointment
Failure to attend (FTA)
Refund: Reimbursed if circumstances change (analogous to tenant security deposit)
Usage Restriction: Deposit cannot be applied toward treatment costs
